My path

The first person who showed me that photography is an art was my mother. When I was a teenager, she had a passion for conceptual street photography. Her work was a beautiful example of capturing important moments in life that could have gone unnoticed, seeing beauty in unconventional things, and capturing fleeting moments that would never be repeated. It undeniably left an imprint on my perception of the world. However, my own journey into the world of photography started much later.

After six years of working as a manager in a bank, I felt a pull towards new adventures and creativity. My journey began with a trip to the stunning island of Bali. It was there that I found inspiration and encountered someone who recognized the potential in my phone snapshots, convincing me that I had talent.

Realizing that talent alone was not enough, and understanding the importance of continuous growth and improvement, I made the decision to embark on the path of becoming a professional photographer and began my education. My first step was enrolling in the remarkable online photography school, AMLAB. There, I gained invaluable foundational knowledge about light, color, and composition. I eagerly absorbed lectures on art and studied the styles of other photographers, delving deeper into the world of photography and acquainting myself with the works of contemporary popular photographers.

Then, Sophie Black entered my life and taught me the importance of a reverent approach to the subjects of my shoots, getting to know the person behind the camera and the power of collaborative creation with clients. I took the renowned “City Photography” course by Alexey Korzov three times, which pushed me out of my comfort zone and completely transformed my perception of what was possible and allowed. Learning from Alexey Korzov became an opportunity for me to view the process of photography from a different angle, and diversify not only my shots but also my overall sense of the world.

At present, my work is not just about creating beautiful photographs; it is about conveying emotions and telling the stories of the subjects in my shoots. Through my photography, I can share my perception of the surrounding world, people, and their beauty. It has become a means for me to connect with others and evoke feelings through visual storytelling.
